Our Team

All our PT’s are level 3 qualified personal trainers or higher. Each having a proven track record of getting results for clients and having fantastic customer focus and rapport. All work towards the same no-nonsense Fitforit workout ethos. Strength training, full body workouts, body weight workouts and plyometric training are all key components of how we train. All tailored to individual goals and abilities.

ROB MARSHALL

PT background:
Rob is the studio veteran having spent a whopping 17 years in the fitness industry. As you would imagine he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, which can be seen through the fantastic transformations of his clients.

Best known for:
Eating ANY food that is left lying around, loving his tiny wee dog Molly more than is humanly possible

Signature workout move:
Bench press, best boobs in the studio.

Qualifications:
(ACSM) American College Sports Medicine, Faster – Functional Training Diploma, Kettlebell Training Academy level 1 & 2 Instructor, Level 1 strength and conditioning coach, Training For Warriors Level 1 certification

EMMA McGEACHY

PT background:
Emma has been self employed in the fitness industry for over 7 years. Helping clients to find ways to fit exercise into their lifestyle (and ultimately enjoy it!) is a key element to how she personal trains. She has experience of working with marginalised individuals and those with more challenging needs. Emma is also qualified to prescribe exercise for post natal clients and has trained many women before, during and after pregnancy.

Best known for:
Psychedelic workout clothes that don’t match, telling the boys to do the dishes, and creating the best client bums at Fitforit

Signature workout move:
Hip thrusts! C’mon the glutes!

Qualifications:
Level 3 Personal trainer, Level 4 GP referral, Kettle bell instructor, Level 1 strength and conditioning coach, Training For Warriors Level 1 certification

DAVIE HANNAH

PT background:
Originally from a football coaching background, Davie then made the switch to personal training. He is our Parkfit Bootcamp coach and is well known for running a tight ship! He is a fan of functional training and strength and conditioning coaching.

Best known for:
Getting ‘more mature’ lady clients to confidently lift weights like a boss! Deadlifting every single Monday morning, flying the flag for fit ginger people!

Signature workout move:
Deadlifts, obviously.

Qualifications:
Level 3 Personal trainer, Level 1 Kettlebell instructor

STEVE HANNAH

PT background:
Steve moved into personal training from a strange life of teaching and sports trading, after finding a love for helping people transform their lives and bodies. Gets the most satisfaction from meeting new people and helping them get to where they want to be – mostly because new people haven’t heard his terrible jokes yet and he can tell them all over again.

Best known for:
Refracting sunlight from his glorious bald head to light the studio, preaching the benefits of strength training, having the nerdiest hobbies in the studio by a large margin.

Signature workout move:
Any strength mnove, but heavy squats are where it’s at.

IAN ADAMSON

PT background:
Having worked in the stern and comparatively boring world of banking Ian decided to follow his passion and enter into the fitness industry. Having been self employed for a number of years before joining Fitforit he has worked with a wide variety of clients, giving him a fantastic broad spectrum of knowledge to bring to the team.

Best known for:
Being able to sing, play guitar and do crossfit. Probably all at the same time.

Signature workout move:
Pullup. ‘Coz he can do loads!

HANNAH SHERLOCK

PT background:
Background: Dental nurse turned personal trainer! After finally pursuing her dream of working in the fitness industry Hannah started with Fitforit as a bootcamp instructor. Probably the most enthusiastic and sweetest instructor Fitforit has had, it was an easy transition into PT within the studio. Ensuring clients feel supported and confident in their abilities, Hannah challenges them with a mix of strength and circuit training.

Best known for:
Being the most enthusiastic!

cheeky plyometric leg burners

Qualifications:

Level 2 Certificate in gym instructing
